RS Feva Easterns
Greystones Sailing Club
A very warm Wicklow welcome awaits the competitors of the first official RS Feva event of 2024 at Greystones Sailing Club. Racing will be carried out on Saturday the 4th and Sunday the 5th of May under the watchful eye of RO Michael Conway with the prizegiving on Sunday afternoon. It’s not all about racing though as the volunteer members of Greystones Sailing Club are well renowned for their hospitality and are looking forward to a very sociable weekend for all sailors and their families.
The club will begin receiving visitors who may have to travel a distance on the evening of Friday the 3rd of May and the dinghy pen will be open for you to get set up. The bar will be open for parents to relax and unwind after the journey. Saturday evening will have entertainment for both competitors and their families with the competitors having their own social area with food and entertainment. Adults will once again be welcome in the GSC bar.
There is lots to see and do in the Garden county and Greystones for those not competing so why not make it a family weekend trip. Take a swim in the cove, visit the Happy Pear. enjoy the spectacular views on the Bray to Greystones costal walk or one of the many mountain trails close by. Go fatbiking or ziplining in Kilruddery estate. Visit beyond the trees at Avondale or imerse yourself in history at Glendalough.
There are lots of resturaunts and cafes to while away the time too.
I look forward to meeting with yourselves in May and please make contact to events@gsc.ie if you have any reservations or questions that need answering.
