We offer exciting sailing and racing on both dinghies and keelboats for junior and adult sailors of all abilities.

- Power Boat Level 2 Course
Next Course Dates: November 11th and 12th 2023
The aim of this course is to train members to be competent operators of club powerboats to assist in race management of dinghy racing and club regattas.
Limited to six participants, active member discounted fee of €250
The Irish Sailing National Powerboat Certificate will be awarded to candidates who successfully complete the modules and log hours on the water.

The course time will be 9.30 am to 5 pm each day.
Participants will need to bring suitable clothing and footwear and also their own lunch and snacks. Hot drinks will be available in the clubhouse.

GSC is delighted to announce the next ISA Level 2 Powerboat course taking place on the 15th and 16th of July. Places are limited, please follow the link below for more details and to book your spot.
- Adult Start Sailing Course
July 22nd & 23rd 2023
This is an opportunity to try sailing and see if it’s for you. The instructors on the course are all Irish Sailing qualified instructors with many years of sailing experience.
Sailing will take place in a combination of dinghies (small boats which can capsize) and keelboats (bigger boats that don’t) over the two days.
Participants should be able to swim or at the very least be comfortable floating in the water whilst wearing a buoyancy aid.
Some sailing gear will be provided. Course times are 9.30 am to 4.30 pm each day.
Cost €180 per person.
