Greystones Sailing Club is open to new members.
GSC is run on a voluntary basis and has active junior and adult dinghy fleets as well as a large keelboat fleet. Our membership is open to sailors of all skills, ages and interests on a non-discrimination basis with the safety and welfare of children paramount.
Members’ support is vital at all levels, whether to provide safety and rescue cover, run races, maintain equipment, clean up, etc.

Subscription Options
Payment options for your subscription, boat storage and other fees are available via Easy Paymnets Plus. You must have completed the membership application form and received confirmation of your membership eligibility from the Hon. Secretary before completing your membership payment.
Use the button above to access Easy Payments Plus (EPP), register an account and use the search function to locate Greystones Sailing Club. Your EPP account is classed as ‘inactive’ until membership is paid, afterwhich other options such as boat storage will become available.
GSC Membership Application Process
Greystones Sailing Club is delighted to welcome new members, those who are regular sailors and who have never sailed before. Membership applications are a straightforward process, but if you have any difficulties, please do not hesitate to reach out to us for help.
There are a three types of membership applications
- Ordinary, Family, Senior and Pavilion Membership
- Junior Membership
- Adult Sailing Course Participants
Note: Membership fees run for the calendar year – 01 January to 31 December.
1. Ordinary, Family, Senior Pavilion Membership Applications
Step 1. Membership Application Form:
To begin the application process, please complete the Membership Application Form. You can find the form at the top of this page.
Step 2. Two Proposers (Club Members):
You will need two current Club Members to propose your application. If you do not have proposers, please email secretary@gsc.ie to arrange a meeting with a committee member.
Step 3. Wait for Approval Email:
For Family, Ordinary, Senior, and Pavilion memberships, your application requires approval from the Executive Committee. After submitting your application, please await an approval email from a member of the committee. Please note that the Executive Committee meetings are held monthly, so consider this timeframe when awaiting a response. *Note: Please do not make a payment on the Easy Payments Plus system until you receive an email confirming approval of your membership application.
Step 4. Set Up Easy Payments Plus Account and Make Payment:
Once your application is approved, you need to set up an Easy Payments Plus Account. Select Greystones Sailing Club from the drop-down menu and proceed to make the payment for your chosen membership type. Detailed instructions for Easy Payments Plus can be found on our website.
Step 5. Receive Welcome Letter and Club Updates:
Once your membership payment is processed, you will receive a welcome letter and will be added to our mailing list for club newsletters and updates. Additionally, you can request to be added to relevant WhatsApp groups for your sailing needs.
Note:*Refund Policy for Payments Made Before Approval:
If you make a payment before Executive Committee approval communication has been received , this payment will be refunded. Please allow 4-5 business days for the refund to reflect in your account. When your application is approved please refer to Steps 3 to 5 above.
2. Junior Membership Application Process
Step 1. Membership Application Form:

Step 2. Set Up Easy Payments Plus Account and Make Payment:
Junior Membership applications do not require Executive Committee approval so you can set up an Easy Payments Plus Account. Select Greystones Sailing Club from the drop-down menu and proceed to make the payment for your chosen membership type. You can set up your Easy Payments Plus account or use an existing account, if applicable. Detailed instructions for Easy Payments Plus can be found on our website.
3. Previous Adult Sailing Course Participants Application Process
If you have participated in one of our adult sailing courses and had provisional membership for the sailing season, you must fill in the membership application form.
Step 1. Membership Application Form:
To begin the application process, please complete the Membership Application Form. If you do not have two proposers, please email development@gsc.ie to discuss your application. You can find the form on our Membership page.
However, Executive Committee approval is not required. You can use your Easy Payments Plus account set up during your course to pay for your required membership type.

Adult Sailing Course Participant Membership applications do not require Executive Committee approval. You can use your Easy Payments Plus account set up during your course to pay for your required membership type.
